Top Questions

  • What is the program cost/tuition?

Our tuition is $4,750 for the seven-month certification program when you choose our long-term payment plan, however you can save an additional $1,000 when you pay in full, bringing your tuition down to $3,750!

For specifics, fill out our application and your admissions advisor will work with you to choose and access the most affordable tuition plan.

  • When does the next training begin?

Since we are committed to the small-group training model, we have new groups starting 2-4 times a month. To find an upcoming cohort that will work for your schedule, fill out the application and your admissions advisor will help you find a group that works for you!

  • Is attendance to live classes required?

We require 100% participation in order to become a Certified Jai Parenting Coach. In the case of inevitable life circumstances, we do offer the ability to watch the class recording and submit reflections to count towards your class participation. That bring said, all students are required to attend a minimum of 80% of their Live Classes in order to become certified.

The live classes are essential to you achieving the capability and confidence as a coach. It’s where you practice, ask questions and get feedback from your Jai Master Trainer.

  • How does this work for students in different time zones?

We work to offer an assortment of times so that you can find a group regardless of where you are in the world. Most of our cohorts take place during weekday working hours in the U.S. time zone. We also have a trainer in Sydney, Australia for students in Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and offer at least one 8pm Eastern time cohort each month.

  • Is Jai accredited/ ICF certified?

When you graduate from the Jai Institute for Parenting you are being certified by Jai to use our materials and coach using our proprietary methodology.

The accrediting body for life coaches is the International Coach Federation, or ICF. We are NOT an ICF accredited coach training program as we do not qualify because of our specialization in parent coaching, vs. comprehensive life coaching.

We could pursue accreditation as a specialty program, however, this would only be useful to already certified ICF life coaches. Because this would make our program more expensive (most ICF certified programs are in the range of $8,000-12,000 for tuition) we are not pursuing this at this time.

Listen to our CEO, Kiva Schuler speak about it here.

  • Am I qualified to be a Parenting Coach?

One of the biggest myths we hear from potential students is the idea that in order to be a Parenting Coach, you need to be a “PERFECT PARENT.” This is simply not the case, nor an achievable ideal.

The Jai Methodology embraces the truth that we are all human, we all make mistakes and that one of the most powerful skills in any relationship is the ability to create REPAIR: to allow conflict, while staying connected. You will learn how to support your CLIENTS to learn this skill, based on our methodology, not your day-to-day experience as a parent.

While many of our students have backgrounds in education, traditional mental health and medicine, this is not a prerequisite to becoming a parenting coach. Our curriculum is robust, giving you the foundations of child development, attachment science, non-violent communication, emotional intelligence and professional coaching skills to empower you to succeed regardless of your background or prior education.

  • Are there successful parent coaches?

Many! We believe with our whole hearts, that there will come a day when parenting coaches are as common place in a family’s support system as pediatricians, which means we’ve only scratched the surface of the opportunity to do this vital work.

Some of our graduates are using their certification as a side gig, while homeschooling, raising young children, or working in a different career. Others have created full-time income through their practice. We are proud that many of our graduates are authors, leaders and influencers in the Peaceful Parenting space.

Here’s some of their businesses to inspire you to see what is possible!

Program Overview & Curriculum

  • How much time is required for my certification on a weekly basis?

We recommend that you have the capacity to commit 5-7 hours a week to your training. In addition to your live one-hour cohort group call (an average of 15 students), you’ll need to complete the module and reading for the week.

Each student is also assigned to a smaller group (2-4 students) in a Practice Coaching Circle. Each week, you’ll be given a Practice Coaching Circle assignment, where you’ll get clear and specific instructions on active listening, our 5-D Coaching Process, and other strategies, tools and skills.

You are also required to work through the 12-week program with a practice coaching client prior to graduation. You will need some time to prepare, deliver and reflect on these sessions, as part of your course time commitment, during that 12-week period.

We want you to already be comfortable with what you’ve learned here when you graduate, so that you can immediately start working with paying clients. This means practice is vital!

During the final four weeks of the program, you will work with our business coach and marketing mentor to learn how to launch your parent coaching business and enroll clients so you are ready to dive in as soon as you graduate.

  • Is the training self-paced or live?

There are two components to our training.

The first is our online platform. You’ll receive weekly modules for each of the 28 weeks that include video, reading assignments, workbooks and exercises.

During the first 24 weeks (Phase 1 and 2), you will be supported in your 1-hour live call with your cohort Master. Each cohort is an average of 15 participants  to ensure that you receive ample time for personal coaching, getting your questions answered and practicing your new skills.

You’ll also be assigned to a Practice Coaching Circle with 2-4 other students so that you have time to practice coaching and gain the confidence you need to thrive as a Jai Certified Parenting Coach.

By week 14 you’ll be ready to start working with practice clients! You will work with one case study practice client in order to complete your certification requirements.

Finally, you spend the final 4 weeks of your certification (Phase 3) working with a Business Mentor to launch your Parent Coaching business!

  • Is the program available in other languages?

Our training is currently available in English. However, several of our coaches have translated the parent-facing curriculum into Spanish and French, for use with their clients, and they share generously in our graduates community.

  • What are the requirements for graduation and certification?

The Jai Certified Parent Coach Graduation Policy is as follows:

It is our expectation that our students attend 80% of classes.

If attendance is an issue for a student, it may affect graduation. If student’s situations change or in some way do not allow for an 80% attendance, we will work with them to find a mutually agreed upon alternative to in-person attendance for the classes missed (example: watch the recorded calls and write a reflection in the Facebook group).

We want to support our students in every way we can.

Students must also have completed 12 weeks with a practice client and submit a workbook reflecting on the practice coaching process prior to graduation and certification.

  • What other expenses are there in the training – any materials?

The only other expense is purchasing the books we read in the program. The total investment for the books is around $100.

  • What about after training, are there any other fees?

There are NO additional licensing/membership fees! Your tuition gives you a lifetime membership in our Parent Coaching Platform & Community and includes full licensing agreements to use our curriculum, frameworks and tools!

Jai offers advanced coach trainings, ongoing programs, and marketing packages to support our graduates, however none of these are required for you to spread your wings and fly as a Jai Certified Parenting Coach.

  • How do you support Jai coaches after the program?

We love our Jai graduates community! There are hundreds of coaches from all over the world in our private graduates community, there for you on a moment's notice to provide resources, advice and connection. Growing a business is hard. Growing it without community is almost impossible!

When you graduate you can continue to stay connected through the group, participate free in all-community calls with guest speakers, and join our annual virtual coaches conference.

You’ll also be listed in our Coaches Directory website so that we can help people find you!

  • Do you offer scholarships?

We do not offer scholarships at this time. We are already the most affordable, comprehensive, research-based Parent Coaching Certification program in the industry and are committed to remaining so.

However, we do offer generous fast-action discounts, pay-in-full tuition incentives and long-term payment plans, bringing the price you pay to as low as $3,750.

For specifics, fill out our application and your admissions advisor will work with you to choose and access the most affordable tuition plan!

  • Does the program have a satisfaction guaranteed policy?

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, within the first ten days of commencement of your Program, we will fully refund the cost of your Transformational Parenting Coach Certification. Please notify us within the guarantee period by emailing support@jaiinstituteforparenting.com if you have any concerns or to request a refund.

Program Qualifications

  • Who is this program for?

This program is for you if you have a longing in your heart to help children by supporting parents to discover a new, more connected and empowered model of parenting so that they can develop rich, life-long relationships with their children.

Listen to our Director of Education, Rebecca Lyddon’s response to this question here.

  • Are there prerequisites for the certification program? Do I need to already be a coach, or work in the field?

While it can certainly help to have a background in coaching, education or working with families, it is not necessary. This is a space of learning. It is supportive for you to already be on board with Peaceful Parenting, even if you still have fear around it and/or aren’t executing it fully. The desire that you have is all that is required.

If you question whether or not you’re aligned with Peaceful Parenting, our recommendation is that you read the first book we cover in our training, Beyond Behaviors by Mona Delahooke. If you read this book and feel aligned, even if it feels scary or you worry about being judged by others, then YES! Come. Join us. And… if you don’t feel aligned with the ideas shared there, then we probably aren’t the best fit.

We’ve trained engineers, corporate executives, physicians, educators, therapists, computer scientists and every day stay-at-home parents. If you have a passion for changing as a parent and changing parenting for the world, then we can support you to thrive as a parenting coach.

  • What if I am struggling myself as a parent, how can I be ready to help others?

Being a parenting coach is not about being a perfect parent. In fact, that would make you really out of reach for people and unavailable to meet them where they are. So you can let go of any idea that you have to be some kind of super parent to do this work effectively. In fact, the opposite is true – the more real you are (and are willing to be), the better.

If you think about the idea of being a coach in any context, for whatever area of expertise, essentially your role is to allow your client to claim what they want for themselves, to set intentions. For example, as a fitness coach, you would help your clients set fitness goals. As parenting coaches, we help our clients set parenting goals.

Then, we provide them the training, the accountability, the loving support for them to follow through on their intentions, celebrate their successes and to create the change that they want.

What's profound is that as parenting coaches we're not here to tell other people how to parent. In fact, many of our coaches tell stories about having clients who still use more punitive measures with their kids and how their role is to help them use those approaches less and less, not to judge, not to make wrong, not to assert their personal values on another family. The parents get to choose that for themselves. We are the conduit. Of course over time, our hope is that the peaceful parenting practices that we choose are far more successful, so people become more and more comfortable letting go of punishments, consequences and spanking, if that's still happening.

We just want to make the world better and better and better. This is what makes a great parenting coach. Not perfection.

For more on this topic, visit this powerful video and blog from our CEO and Founder, Kiva Schuler.

  • Can I enroll in the program if I am not a parent?

We absolutely have graduates who are not parents. It is a different experience for sure, as you’re not able to experience the day to day outcomes of the implementation of what you’re learning. However, different doesn't mean better or worse. It is simply different.

Many of our non-parent students are educators, doulas, therapists or other professionals who are already working with children or families in some way. You will learn so much as a witness to the growth of the parents and fellow students in your cohort.

  • Will the certificate that I earn be all I need to practice legally in the USA and abroad?

The profession of coaching has no licensing requirements in the United States or internationally. You should consult with your tax advisor on the appropriate business entity for your personal situation.

  • Is there an industry certifying organization for Parent Coaches? How is the program accredited as a national or international coaching certification?

When you graduate from The Jai Institute for Parenting you are being certified by Jai to use our materials and coach using our proprietary methodology.

The accrediting body for life coaches is the International Coach Federation, or ICF. We are NOT an ICF accredited coach training program as we do not qualify because of our specialization in parent coaching, vs. comprehensive life coaching.

We could pursue accreditation as a specialty program, however, this would only be useful to already certified ICF life coaches. Because this would make our program more expensive (most ICF certified programs are in the high 4- or low 5-figure range for tuition) we are not pursuing this at this time.

Listen to our CEO, Kiva Schuler speak about it here.

  • Is your program just for moms, or do you have dads as clients? Does your program cater to all genders?

Yes, we hold inclusivity as a core value. It is so heartening to see more and more dads, and nonbinary parents come into our training program.

Launching Your Parenting Coach Business

  • What is the job of a parenting coach?

A parenting coach meets regularly with their clients to help them heal or improve their relationships with their children. They teach their clients new tools based on research and the current knowledge about child development. The tools they use are backed by science to be effective while also being peaceful.

  • How many of your coaches are making a full time income doing this work?

Our students typically come into our program with four general categories of intention for their coach training. This is a very personal and unique choice and there’s no “right path” for our coaches. We want you to use this powerful training in the way that works best for your family, time capacity and income needs and goals!

    The Four Categories:

    1) To impact their own parenting confidence and fulfillment

Some of our students simply want these skills for their own families. There is no greater immersion into making the shift from the dominant model of parenting to the new, connected, peaceful and empowered model of parenting, than gaining the skills of a parenting coach.

To read about a family that had this intention, read about Dr. Nic Lucas and his wife Rhoda here!

    2) To create income working part-time while raising kids

Many of our students' primary focus IS parenting their own children. The opportunity to become a Jai Certified Parenting coach gives them a way to make extra money on the side, while being able to pick up their kids from school every day, homeschool, or tend to small children who are still home full-time. For these parents, working with a couple of clients at a time and earning an extra couple of thousand dollars per month for their family is enough!

Meet a coach who is using her certification as a “side gig...” Read Niurka Maldonado’s story here!

    3) To earn a full-time income replacing employment with purpose-driven work

Other students come into our training with the intention of doing this work full-time and earning a full-time living doing it! A full practice would likely be made up of 10-12 personal clients at a time, with a group program or two to allow families more flexible payment options to access this life-changing work!

Building a full practice takes time and commitment, but here at Jai, we give you the training, support and community to allow you to reach your business goals!

To read about a coach who made the transition from full-time employment to full-time coaching, read Dr. Tiffanie Noonan (yes, she’s a pediatrician!) here.

    4) To become a thought leader

Some of our coaches have bigger entrepreneurial goals… meaning they want to build a leveraged business that generates revenue beyond getting paid to work with clients. These coaches are writing books, creating their own digital courses and programs and cultivating and nurturing large social media followings. Seeing the core work of Jai being transformed, applied in new ways, or to specific niches – i.e. kids with ADD, divorced families, BIPOC families, military families, etc – fills us with pride and joy!

  • How much can a Parent Coach earn per year?

The income opportunity is really up to you! There are so many variables that influence your earning potential as a parenting coach… comfort with sales and marketing, time capacity, personal goals and commitment to those goals. Our business training teaches you to set a goal for your first year in business, and to create the marketing plan that will get you to your goal!

Listen to our CEO, Kiva Schuler speak about it here.

  • How much will I charge for parent coaching and how do parents pay?

This is a very personal decision. However, your business coach will work with you to set your rates in your final four weeks of the training. For new business owners, who have never enrolled clients before, we advise you to start where you’re comfortable… perhaps $500 for the core 12-week program.

Our recommended goal is to get comfortable enrolling 1-1 clients for $1,500. More seasoned and advanced coaches, or those who are coming to the program with an already established business are charging $2,500+ for their core 12-week coaching packages.

We will share the resources for you to accept payments and set up your coaching business in the last four weeks of your parent coaching certification.

  • How much will it cost to start and run my business? Where can I find out more?

This is a very personal decision. One of our coaches reached 6-figures in income before she even had a website! Others choose to invest in full branding, custom websites and business coaching.

You should consult your personal tax advisor for advice on setting up a business entity that works best for you. However, as a sole proprietor in the USA, you do not need to have a separate entity for your business.

  • What is included in the business training of the Jai program?

Phase 3 of the program, Launching Your Business, gives you the foundations of setting up and launching your parent coaching business. You’ll discover the simplest and most affordable ways to get your business off of the ground and start enrolling clients. In fact, you’ll be highly encouraged to enroll paying clients while you are still with us in this final month of your parent coach certification program.

Phase 3 encompasses the last 4 weeks of the program (or see the full course syllabus here):

    • Week 25: The Mindset, Success Practices and Foundations of Your Coaching Business
    • Week 26: No-Cost and Low-Cost Lead Generating Strategies
    • Week 27: Authentic and Empowered Sales Conversations
    • Week 28: Follow Up and Long Term Business Growth Strategies

Listen to our CEO, Kiva Schuler, speak about it here.

  • Is there any limit to the number of coaches in a particular area?

No. It would be an amazing thing if there were so many parenting coaches that we might worry about market saturation, but given these two factors:

Our coaches work virtually, meaning they can work with clients from anywhere in the world. A full practice is usually 10-12 families at a time. There is no concern of competition… if anything we see coaches who live close to each other collaborating, creating programs together and supporting each other!

  • Are there coaches that integrate other skills into their coaching practice (such as yoga)?

Yes! The beauty of this community is watching the work evolve, shape shift and be applied to different niches, combine with other modalities and serve diverse populations.

Jai's Parenting Methodology & Philosophy

  • What are the foundations of the Jai Parenting Methodology?

Our methodology is parent-centric, meaning that we focus on skills building, coaching and behavior-change strategies for adults.

These are grounded in evidence-based frameworks of non-violent communication (NVC), emotional intelligence, attachment science, nervous system regulation and values-led leadership.

Our coaching frameworks include generational pattern coaching, somatic coaching, emotional regulation coaching, and more.

These are applied to our 5-D Coaching Model, that allows parents to successfully break through their limiting beliefs, assumptions and conditioned reactive behavior.

These strategies allow parents to successfully shift out of the dominant (power over) or permissive (power under) paradigms of parenting, which creates disconnection, resentment and rebellion—to the relational, empowered paradigm of parenting which restores connection, trust and mutual respect.

Listen to our CEO, Kiva Schuler speak about it here.

  • What are some of the outcomes I can expect from this certification training?

    1. You can expect to be able to reflect back on the patterns that were at play when you were a child, specifically through the lens of differentiation between the power-over paradigm—of control, conditional love, manipulation, punishments, and demands—and how to make the shift to Empowered Parenting. You’ll notice the ways you carried the way you were parented into your parenting today. You’ll discover the steps to learning a new way to parent—one that prioritizes the humanity of every being in the family,  the relationships, and true unconditional love and acceptance.

    2. You’ll build skills as a Parent Coach, based on interpersonal neurobiology. You’ll learn how to support other parents to evolve their own personal narrative and develop new access to emotional regulation, conscious communication and empathy.

    3. You’ll learn how to teach people to communicate, leaving behind projection, shame, blame and trigger, and discovering how to make the shift to a more connected way to communicate, while still being able to set boundaries that give children safety, structure and guidance without shame or manipulation.

    4. You’ll be supported through any fear or resistance to letting go of power-over strategies and discover the tools to allow others to do the same. We explore healthy aggression, grief, fear, and JOY, giving families a new system of peace and connection in their homes.

    5. Finally, our commitment is that you graduate from our program with the competency and confidence to bring this work to the families you work with as a Jai Certified Parenting Coach.

  • What is the scientific basis for this training?

Our work is rooted in Attachment Science—understanding the way we were parented as children and how it defines our relational context—meaning our ability to connect vulnerably and authentically with anyone outside of ourselves as adults, and specifically as it relates to our own children.

This is done through the methodologies of non-violent communication, emotional intelligence and somatic awareness. This is the science of the nervous system, learning to self-regulate, so that we can co-regulate with our children until they gain the capacity for self-regulation (in their 20’s!!). We dive deeply into neuroscience, specifically understanding the development of the human brain.

Listen to our Director of Education, Rebecca Lyddon share more about the scientific foundations of our work here.

  • Are the outcomes with clients always positive?

As coaches our commitment is to show up 100% for the clients who trust us to support them to make a change in their families. And our clients must also commit to doing this work. We have proven outcomes with thousands of families all over the world.

And sometimes, people believe they are ready to make this shift, but don’t show up with their full presence and commitment. This is the nature of coaching.

  • For those who have older children, is it possible to mend past hurt?

One of our favorite success stories is a family with children in their 60’s! Many of our students have grandchildren, or children already in college, or off living their adult lives. It is NEVER too late to reconnect with you child, to heal and mend things that happened in the past, even decades ago!

It is a different experience for Jai students whose children have already left home, and aren’t in the day to day experience of this transformation. But different isn’t good or bad! It is simply different. And often, these are the coaches that have more time capacity to take this work out into the world and change lives!

  • Does the curriculum touch on parenting a child with ADHD or neuro-diversity?

This work applies for any and all human beings. We are a parent-centric program, meaning that what we learn here is 100% parent-focused. This is not behavioral modification of children. The strategies we teach show parents how to connect deeply with their children, with dignity, honor and mutual respect.

Neuro-diverse children thrive when parents are given these tools, as these skills that can often be more challenging for children on the spectrum (like emotional self-regulation) are being modeled in a consistent, calm and compassionate way.

Many of our coaches have gone on to specialize in working with families with special needs kids.

  • Is your program more therapy or coaching?

Coaching and therapy are two very different professions. Therapy is a healing profession, focused on the past and meant to support mental health challenges. Coaching looks to the future, supporting people to create intention and vision, and then follow through with action and commitment.

We are a coaching organization. When there is unresolved childhood trauma, or mental health needs in the clients we serve, we refer out to licensed mental health professionals.

For more on this topic, watch this video from our CEO and Founder, Kiva Schuler.

  • What is the basis of the methodology that you teach in your program?

We are parent-centric, rather than child-centric. Here at Jai, we give parents tools of connection and communication. We do not focus on modifying children’s behavior, but rather create the safe space for intrinsic motivation for positive outcomes.

Our methodology is founded in nonviolent communication, emotional intelligence, brain science, conscious communication and empathy. While we teach our Parent Coaches to guide their clients to discover these new ways of relating, we also trust parents to discern what values are best for their family.

We know that all behavior is an expression of a need, met or unmet. As parents can become more attuned and open to the needs of their child, behavior mitigates, conflicts resolve and there is a new dynamic of peace, connection and cooperation between parent and child.

Intergenerational patterns of reactivity and triggers resolve, and new frameworks emerge for resolving conflicts, creating solutions, and family agreements together.

Our work as coaches is to give parents the space to intentionally create their own values, limits and style of parenting and then to help them to stay accountable to their intentions. We call this the Transformational Parenting Model.

Listen to our CEO, Kiva Schuler speak about it here.

  • What is your commitment to diversity and inclusion?

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are some of our core values. We strive to make our programs welcoming to people of all cultural backgrounds, races, ages, gender identities, religions and physical abilities.

Part of our mission is to grow a community of parenting coaches who hold the values of Equity, Justice, Inclusion, Diversity and Integrity in their client work, in their businesses, and in their lives.

We support our team members with education and information relating to issues of social justice and equity, and provide support and required supplemental training on issues of equality and equity to our students and graduates. We also explore all areas of coaching skills through the lens of Equity. We do so in order to support our coaches to be aware of issues of white supremacy, patriarchy, internalized oppression and social justice, so that they can be stewards of justice in their practices and in the world.

We continue to learn and grow in this area, and are committed to doing better and better when it comes to supporting and nourishing all individuals.

  • What makes your program philosophically different?

We train our Parent Coaches to guide their clients to discover new ways of relating to and with their kids. We trust parents to discern what is best for their family, and allow families to co-create their own values, boundaries and styles of communicating.

We honor our great responsibility in certifying parenting coaches. This is not a DIY program where our students aren’t known by their trainer, and colleagues. Our small group cohorts allow our trainee coaches to be seen, heard, known and appreciated.

At Jai, we embrace the philosophy of “leaders go first,” meaning that our coaches get to discover our tools, strategies and transformations for themselves, before learning how to coach others through the journey to Transformational Parenting.

Finally, we believe in the power of community. Jai is a community of certified coaches, hundreds upon hundreds strong, from all over the world. Our community interactions continue far beyond your graduation from our program. Through our graduates group, bi-annual conferences and monthly community calls, we are in this mission together!

  • Why is Jai the best organization to go through to be certified as a parenting coach?

As one of the first organizations to certify Parenting Coaches in the world, we’re incredibly proud of our program, its effectiveness, results and proven process to train confident and capable Parenting Coaches.

One of the primary benefits of getting your certification through Jai is that you are going to learn how to coach through a proven system. This means that all of the content, teachings, and strategies that transform families are already here for you. You simply get to coach your clients, and don’t need to create your own methodology, system or training platform.

Finally, we offer the best value in our field. We are committed to our mission to certify 1000 new Parent Coaches in the next three years, meaning we have the most affordable Parent Coaching certification in the industry, with scholarships and generous payment plans available.

Listen to our CEO, Kiva Schuler speak about it here.

Parent Coaching Questions

  • What is parent coaching?

Parent coaching is a fast-growing, deeply fulfilling but little-known career path where you help other parents improve their family relationships and quite literally change lives.

Parent coaching begins with supporting clients in examining their approaches, beliefs and attitudes towards parenting and finding out where they would like to see change and growth. Parent coaches come from a variety of modalities and backgrounds, making the choice for who to work with an important one based on your values.

The Jai Institute for Parenting's Parent Coach Certification program curriculum draws from the expertise of a wide variety of top recognized experts in all areas of peaceful parenting and brain science. We combine attachment theory, neuroscience, childhood brain development, as well as emotional intelligence and self-regulation to create a well-rounded powerful program that prepares our coaches for this incredible career.

  • How do you become a parent coach?

Becoming a parent coach begins with getting certified through a parent coaching program

The work includes learning the skills, approaches and new perspectives that help you to separate your own experiences and reactions from what is actually happening in the present moment with your child. You are then able to act from a place of understanding, compassion and connection instead of overwhelm, frustration and reaction.

During the certification process to become a Jai Certified Parenting Coach, you will begin to familiarize yourself with and apply this parenting philosophy in your own life in ways that work for you and your family.

Through the Jai Institute for Parenting, parental coaches go through a seven-month training program which includes a client practicum and business training as part of the certification process.

Courses are delivered via online learning platforms, videos, reading assignments as well as workbooks and exercises. There is one live group call per week, with a Master Trainer; and a coaching practicum which begins with a small practice coaching circle in Phase 1 of the training, and then a practice client in Phase 2.

New small group classes begin every month.

  • What qualifications do you need to become a parenting coach?

In order to become a parenting coach you will need to complete parent coach training and certification including a client practicum.

This training period will allow you to become familiar with a wide variety of parenting topics including: attachment theory, the neuroscience of brain development, peaceful parenting techniques to apply in situations of distress or conflict, ways to create deeper connection to children through fun and play, and many more important areas of learning.

There are no pre-requisites required to begin your training program, other than a desire to help families.
